"This is basically a family run old school bed and breakfast. Not a bad thing, but something I wish I knew before booking. The plus, it's reasonably comfortable. It's near the lake. The family is friendly. The catch is that there was a lot of kids running around and playing from about 7am to 11pm. "Very comfortable. Breakfast is excellent. My window did not close. The pressure of the water in the baths is incredibly high. So high that taking a bath can be a painful experience. Please, consider to regulate the pressure of the two water."

"Some aspects of the hotel are in disrepair (ie. door handles, one of the numbers for my room number was missing). The only real complaint I had, which I shared at reception and they received the feedback well, was that I placed the do not disturb sign on my door before leaving for an activity during the day; I had all my belongings spread over the room and I did not have the energy or time to put them away. While I was gone, the cleaning staff entered the room to clean. Nothing was missing, but...

"We had a great stay and paid a fair value for a beautiful room with lake and volcanos view. It is true the hotel needs some updating, specially in tje exterior pool, garden and painting. Some interior details were already updated and very nice. We loved the reading room, the poems along the walls and the corridors lights."

"Good property with a nice location overlooking the sea. The room is spacious with a kitchen and jacuzzi. The kitchen has limited cooking appliances and the shower button is broken. I can see that the hotel is nice but the facilities seem a bit old. Overall a nice hotel with friendly staff who allows me to store my luggage after checkout. "

"The owner was very nice. He allowed us to check in early at 8am and gave us some snacks/cereal bar which was very helpful for us to go hiking. The room was nice and clean with an amazing view of the volcano. Shower was hot enough with good water pressure. Location is superb. Would definitely recommend."

"Very good hotel and very close to the center. They also provided lunch boxes when we missed breakfast due to out early flight. Some areas at the hotel are only accessible by stairs but we managed. "
