"Great funky historic hotel right on Cuba St. Close to good food and shopping and everything is close by. Breakfast was great and this had everything we needed. We got off the last Interislander ferry in Wellington at 10pm. Quick taxi (10 min) to the hotel and it was another 10 min to the airport. We hung out at the Te Papa museum for the morning before our flight in the afternoon which was perfect and such and amazing museum. The hotel is an easy walk to the museum. "Good location and facilities. Bed was too soft and disturbed partners sleep if you moved. Street is noisy at night and early morning with partiers and garbage collection."

"Hotel is a bit out of the main CBD, but not far to good restaurants & cafes. Service was good, the towels were changed daily , which is not really necessary for just one traveller. Bed was very comfortable and a variety of pillows to chose from. The room itself needs a bit of attention, it is pretty old and some wall paper is peeling off walls. "

"Room was good though the building works nearby were noisy, fortunately they didn't start until 7.30am. Shower over bath was surprising and was awkward for older people. Very low shower too. Very handy to restaurants and central city."

"I had a lovely stay, only drawback this time was the noise really carried through to my room which was 209. The shutting of neighbours doors would constantly bang heavily and wake me and the walls would shake. I will definitely stay here again though. I think that was my third or fourth stay ."

"Loved our corner room on the 8th floor! We were overlooking the city and felt like we were kings. The room had two full walls of windows; exceptional! It was decorated with lots of fun color too. The hotel was also right on the street with great places for dinner; could walk to several great spots. Had great parking as well."
