"The property is exactly as shown in photos not a lot of room outside for the dog but it has a small fenced area so ok for little dogs. Very close to other houses but is quiet will need the car to get supplies. Surprised only one tv but loads of games for kids. Nice beds but a little hard. For the price it’s very expensive as just stayed at Waiheke and got a heated swimming pool and spa included for almost the same price Matakana is expensive and no beach views or country outlook. "Stunning location and really comfortable, well equipped property. Plenty of space, really clean and had everything we needed. Fell in love with the chickens and the garden and didn't want to leave. We will definitely be back again!"

"Vicki is such a lovely host who made sure we were very well looked after in this beautiful little cabin in the hills. My friend and I stayed here for Hidden Valley and had the best time partying, exploring Matakana and spending time in this wonderful private haven. Definitely recommend staying here if you’re thinking of coming to Matakana "

"Beautiful home. A relaxing place to be together. The bed for the fifth person is suitable for a child or petite adult however we made it work for us. Lovely hosts."

"Started off with inconvenience on a cold day stuck outside as the incorrect key code was supplied on booking. The house only has 1 x small fin heater which doesn't warm the house. I wouldn't recommend for a winter stay. The location was convenient."
