We absolutely loved everything about our stay - the hotel, the location, the staff, the hot tub, the hiking trails, and the trout I had in the Tapoco Tavern was one of the best meals I have had during my time in the US. We live in the UK but will definitely recommend the lodge to our family living in Atlanta and anybody we know visiting North Carolina "

"We’ve been enjoying our stays at Tipton Cabins for years. Love that this cabin is secluded, clean, comfy, and surrounded by nature. Had all we needed for the kitchen. Plenty of linens for bathroom, bedroom & snuggling in the living room. Easy to drive to Cades Cove, Dollywood and many other areas. This year we enjoyed celebrating our 39th wedding anniversary at the cabin. Thank you!"

"This cabin is by far, the most amazing cabin we have stayed in. My family and I rent a cabin every year for our annual Thanksgiving vacation. Our family members range in age from 17 to 80 so multiple amenities are a must to keep everyone entertained. Gaylene's cabin provided that and so much more! The cleanliness, the beautiful decorations to include a lovely Christmas tree, the attention to detail was so impressive. There was more than enough room for everyone and the rooms were spacious with comfortable beds and linens. Everyone absolutely enjoyed the theatre in the basement with comfortable seating as well as the game room with ping pong, pool, darts and so much more. The cabin also has a great jacuzzi where you can relax and take in the amazing views of the lake. As a bonus, the cabin also has a beautiful sauna with different scents and oils of your liking. We definitely felt very spoiled. The kitchen is fully stocked and the dining area was perfect for our Thanksgiving dinner gathering. I was very impressed with how quickly Gaylene resonded when the fuse went out in the master bedroom. She is friendly, communicative and extremely thoughtful. I recommend this cabin 100% and I can definitely see us coming back!"

"Walker Cabin was cozy and comfortable. It was close to the wedding venue that our cousins chose, and there were fun things to do close by - hiking in the National Park, nearby cave tour, and horseback riding."

"Stayed here with a couple friends coming from the suburbs of a big city. Everything about this property is perfect for those looking to explore more rural America while maintaining a semblance of home. The cabin itself was very accommodating and stocked with just about everything you could want for a vacation rental. However, the "backyard" of this property was the highlight for the majority of our nights spent featuring a natural firepit with plenty of provided firewood, a hot tub, propane grill—all surrounded by hilly forestry and a calm little creek. The area was perfect for spontaneously exploring various trails and overlooks within a 30-60 minute drive. Lastly, this "neighborhood" of cabin rentals strikes the sweet spot between privacy and reassurance that you aren't completely secluded—something that may be important for first-time explorers of more rural areas like ourselves. Undoubtably planning on booking this cabin again!"
