Welcome to Walker cabin in the Peaceful Side of the Smoky Mountains!

Play games in the cozy living room or at the dining table, take a long soak in the large jetted tub, swing outside on the deck and enjoy nature, grill up your favorite meal. Catch your favorite movie on the Smart TV.

Reset and relax in Townsend. This is the Peaceful Side of the Smokies.

We are a pet friendly property. We allow 2 dogs that are over 1 year old for a $50 pet fee.

*Property does have a shared driveway.*

Enter into the living room where you will find a comfy futon, a fireplace (useable Oct-April), and a smart television. Play board games or snuggle up and enjoy each other's company. Our place is cozy but we feel love grows best in smaller spaces!

The indoor dining table has seating for four provided.

Head over to the kitchen where you have everything you need to make a meal and save some money instead of eating out. We have a refridgerator, stove, oven, microwave, coffee pot, along with all the dinnerware, silverware, pots and pans. If you prefer to grill, we have a gas grill outside and the kitchen is equipped with grill tools.

The bathroom is on the main level and has a standalone shower and a jacuzzi tub big enough for two. Enjoy a long soak after a fun day in town exploring.

A beautiful loft area is where you will find the best place to rest your head. The queen bed is just right for a good night's sleep. New Lucid matress in November 2022. There is also a small desk in the bedroom area if you need to do a little work while you're staying.

On the deck you will find two rocking chairs, a porch swing, and a dining table. Have meals outside, take a seat in the rockers and wind down with a glass of wine, or swing on the porch swing and take advantage of the beautiful weather

Walker is a pet friendly rental! We allow up to two dogs that are at least one year old and go potty strictly outside. The pet fee is an additional $50 for your stay.

Walker Cabin is a sweet little cabin on the "quiet side" of the Smokies. We enjoyed our stay, especially sitting on the covered back porch in a rocker or the swing!

Nice quiet place to stay while riding motorcycles in the area. Close to gas and groceries, but in a quiet valley away from town. AC, full kitchen, gas grill, fireplace and nice porch to sip coffee or a cocktail.

Furniture needs to be replaced the steps are pretty dangerous, the cabin could us a ddep cleaning,I would also have liked the bathroom to be on the same level as the bedroom

nice and clean inside. Futon in living room with a bed upstairs. Gas logs were great. Quiet and manager was very nice. There was some things out back that needed tidying up though.

Perfect cabin in Townsend
Perfect cottage for two off the beaten track but near everything. We spent 3 nights and wish it was longer. The cabin was a great size and felt spacious, but cozy for two of us. Lovely porch for cocktails in the evening. A short drive to great hikes, and very close to Townsend.

Clean, comfortable cabin, nice porch to enjoy country hills. Close to Smoky Mountain parks and hikes. Internet fast enough for streaming Netflix after long fun day of hikes. Both Keurig and drip coffee maker. Overall a nice stay!!

Fun little cabin. 6 year old LOVED the jacuzzi tub.
Great location near Smokey Mountains. Perfect for if you are wanting to do things in and around the park. Bed was very comfortable. I probably wouldn't have cared for the sofa bed but my 6 year old son liked it well enough. He also LOVED the jacuzzi tub. Place was quite clean with all the ammenties. Host was very courteous & communicative. We may have to go back to the cabin sometime if we don't just go camping in the Smokies first. My son would like to add "We loved the cabin because it was sooo peaceful and we just loved the whole cabin." He's not wrong.

This place was just perfect for the two of us! Nicole (property manager) was great at answering our questions and working with us to make adjustments to our timing!! Would rent from them again!! I would not recommend staying if you have more than 2 adults! Cleaning: shower had hair in drain (only reason for 4 star) Husband cleaned out all was well. Maintenance: needed light in kitchen (it was out so dark in there! Did not need to cook on our trip so all was fine! Everything else was perfect!

The landscaping was very over grown. There was a light on the stairs but bulbs were missing. Stairs were very short and combined with no lights were dangerous. The inside was clean except the shower door has mold and needs cleaned. Loved the location.

Our first visit, but not our last.
We enjoyed the perfect getaway at this beautiful cabin in Townsend. There are so many good things to say about our experience that I am not sure where to start. Communication with the property owner was excellent and included not only useful information, but a follow-up just to see if we needed anything. The check in process could not have been easier. The star of the experience though was the cabin itself. This beautiful cabin is easy to get to, but provides all the quiet and privacy that we were looking for. The fireplace and back porch were perfect spots to relax. We also enjoyed making our meals in the full kitchen. The bed is very comfortable and the bedroom includes a Roku TV. There is a large Roku TV downstairs, too, and the wifi works great! We could not have had a better time. The only bad part of our trip was that we had to leave, but we are already looking forward to coming back.
