"The ambience of the Edgewater was amazing. The Activity Hut was great!! The employees were very kind and helpful. The view of the ocean was Spectacular!!! My only concern wss for the amount of animals; chickens getting up on the tables and the amount of dogs. If someone is allergic to animals, it might be a problem. "

"I would stay here again! The location is great—there is a 24-hour supermarket right across from the villas, and a waterfall is within walking distance. If you don’t want to eat out, the villas provide all necessary cooking equipment, including salt and pepper. The swimming pool and beach are just a few steps away, and snorkeling in the lagoon is fantastic. Kayaks and stand-up paddleboarding equipment are also available. The staff are super friendly and accommodating. There’s also a reliable rental company with friendly staff just across the road. The only small downside is that the official check-out time is 10 AM, while the airport shuttle pick-up is at 12:30 PM. Since the villas weren’t very busy (our room wasn’t cleaned immediately after we checked out at 11 AM), it would have been nice to stay until the shuttle pick-up time. However, there may have been other considerations we weren’t aware of. Overall, I would still highly recommend these villas to friends and family! "

"Fabulous location. Large room and well equipped with everything you need. Very private and romantic. Only downside was a very grubby bq which smelt of old cooking fat everytime you used it. We let the property know that these need thorough cleaning on a regular basis. Other than that it was lovely and we would stay again."

"The Raratongan Resort was amazing! The snorkeling was some of the best anywhere-hundreds of fish (including so many nurseries with babies), lots of coral, many, many eels, and turtles; the beach was beautiful; the staff and activities were terrific; the room was wonderful; and the breakfast buffet was the best I've ever had anywhere! What a paradise!"
