"We left Motu Beach a few days ago - the service, cleanliness, location and ambiance and airport transfers are outstanding. They added some very special touches at no extra charge for my girlfriend’s birthday! I’ve traveled for a living for 30 years and stayed in thousands of hotels. This is one of the best. I misplaced my car keys on the property and Mii was incredibly diligent in helping us find them. Turns out I left them in the refrigerator!!! Last Monday Polynesian car rental opened a new location next door to Motu Art Villas - I was its first customer! Book your free airport transfers through Motu and rent your car next door at Polynesian for 20% off - too easy! Great location for swimming, snorkeling, walking. New grocery store + gas station to open across the street soon! "

"Beautiful property, complimentary breakfast was beautiful with fresh baked breads, croisants, fresh fruit smoothies, muesili, yogurt, fruit. Beachfront with pool room was spectacular. Huge with infloor aquqrium water features in side , private pool deep to swim and with waterfall all in courtyard. Service was excellent. Rooms and pool cleaned and beach raked daily. Lounge chairs, furniture and beds very comfortable and attractive. Ocean views breathtaking. Luxurious in every way."

"Everyone at this property was so nice and friendly. Our flight got canceled and we booked in short notice. They allowed us to check in early, ensuring the room was done and ready. when we arrived the staff and people there were all just so lovely. Beautiful beach across the road. and amazing restaurant about a 2 min walk away :)"

"We spent 6 nights at Little Polynesian. A beautiful oasis. We loved our beachfront chalet, quiet, clean, peaceful with direct beach access. The service and food was exceptional. I’d read mixed reviews about the continental breakfast but my husband and I are big eaters and we enjoyed every breakfast. Nice to have coffee replenished every day. We look forward to returning. "

"The location was lovely, but the onsite managers were rarely “onsite,” they would not allow us to have complimentary late checkout, (not even an hour or 2, even though our flight didn’t leave until nearly midnight and we had checked in at nearly midnight.) They provided us with stained towels and a dirty and used kitchen sponge upon arrival. Paara asked us when our wedding anniversary was. He told us that he would bring us a bottle of “bubbly” to celebrate our special day. He never wished us a Happy Anniversary, nor did he bring us any “bubbly.” When we asked for paper towels or napkins he stated that nobody had ever asked for them and they weren’t provided. It rained and there were high winds 7 out of 8 days that we were in Rarotonga (nobody’s fault,) but when we finally saw Kayla to ask for sightseeing brochures, she had none to give us, stating that some were left in our bungalow. There were only a few in the folder. She recommended visiting a nearby garden, which was very mediocre. The mattress was extra firm, the chair cushions indoors and on the outside lounge chairs were thin and worn out. The 2 burner gas stove had to be lit with a match and barely fit 2 pans on it. We paid over $500 per night, with fees and taxes for this beach bungalow. It was a huge splurge to celebrate our anniversary and we were sorely disappointed! We do NOT recommend staying here! "
