"Incredible stay at Hana Lodge - very unique, but lux stay. The property is just gorgeous with whimsical sculptures everywhere. Just know that you are in that you are in the countryside (not far from town), so taxis, etc. are less available if you’re traveling alone as I was. Still very worth the small effort to get into town/more touristy activities. Supreme destination for a romantic getaways, family stay. Visiting the property is enough of vacation for those close enough. Huge thank you to Raj and team for going above and beyond to make sure my stay was comfortable, and special for my birthday. You’re all brilliant. "

"Stay here! Our first trip to Rotarua from the US. We initially picked this hotel but then changed our mind for one closer to downtown. Our first night there, we realized it was a mistake but it was too late to cancel. Regardless, we popped over to Newina and booked our second evening here. Comfy beds, great tv selection, qiet rooms, heated pool. Best tissue and toliet paper quality. Milk for coffee, nothing was overlooked. Stay here!"

"Tired facilities but comfortable. We had a two bedroom unit with ensuite. It was a bit noisy ( traffic and people outside). Lovely meal in the restaurant. Great checkin, pleasant and helpful staff."
