"Totally self contained little house in a rural setting, spacious, quiet and fully equipped, eg dishwasher, washing machine, etc. The hostess was lovely, she showed our kids around the section and gave us fruit to take with us."

"We found the property to be good, not great. It was comfortable, but not as clean as we would expect. We enjoyed being close to the downtown and we liked the sunny sitting area and plants inside. The location could be a problem if there is an event at the stadium, which is right next to the property. The host was helpful and responsive."

"We loved staying at Pohutukawa cottage. The garden was lovely for an Easter egg hunt, and the kids loved being able to run around. Also loved the stack of firewood as the weather was fairly cold the first couple of evenings. Highly recommended for families - can walk to the ocean and the cycle trails go past the front door (plus you can rent bikes from round the corner if the ones if the shed arae not to your style). All round great stay."

"Such a gorgeous little home right on the beach. A mix of modern with quirky antiques and artwork throughout the house. Super comfortable bed, everything was incredibly clean and cosy. The weather wasn’t great for our stay but we enjoyed the home and went to a local vineyard nearby. A perfect relaxing stay for a few nights. Thanks Elizabeth 5*"

"We were a group of Rotarians down for 3 days helping with the Post Cyclone Gabrielle cleanup project. The property was outstanding, roomy and very well equipped. It certainly suited our group. My partner and I would be very happy to stay in it again. Having said that there were some few issues for the Property Manager to note. The most important being the gas for the hot water ran out after one shower early on the first morning, Friday. A real concern given we would all (5 adults) be wanting...
