"I stayed here for two weeks and the experience was wonderful. Sheryl was such a welcoming and lovely host and accommodated us with whatever we needed or asked for. It was comfortable and the view and surrounding area was beautiful to experience, especially in the hot tub! Staying here was worth the extra bit of distance from Napier and Hastings because it felt so removed from the city and had lots of peace and quiet (including the occasional distant bleat of sheep or moos!). "We loved our stay. The house was very well equipt and we had everything we needed for our family of 5. It is a very old house and we were there in the middle of winter. The ground floor was a bit cold and drafty, especially when the curtains were open. Summer would be amazing."

"My 2nd time staying in Sunrise cottage and it was just as good as the first. House is very clean and has everything you need to cook meals. Beds are comfy and the location is great with the Four Square and takeaways across the road. Only thing missing is a BBQ."
