"I had an excellent stay at Hotel Eastlund in Portland. From start to finish, everything about this hotel made my trip enjoyable. The quick and courteous valet parking made arrival seamless, and the location is fantastic—safe, quiet, and very walkable, with easy access to public transportation and dining options. Parking was also hassle-free, which is a big plus. The rooms were modern, clean, and comfortable, providing a great space to relax. But one of the highlights was the 6th-floor rooftop restaurant and bar—a fantastic spot with great food, drinks, and a wonderful ambiance. It was the perfect place to unwind after a day of exploring. The staff were friendly and attentive, making sure my stay was enjoyable. If you're looking for a convenient, comfortable, and well-located hotel in Portland, Hotel Eastlund is a great choice. I’ll definitely be staying here again! "

"Room was nice and clean. Staff was friendly. Area around the hotel was filthy. There was garbage stacked up all around the dumpster area and all over the ground. There’s no way they don’t have rats. Homeless people walking around at all hours looking into cars. Homeless people living in their cars in the parking lot. "

Valet was pricey, but otherwise, the hotel was surprisingly affordable. It was a bit dated, but nothing that took away from enjoying amenities. "

Lots of shopping and dining nearby. $10 parking surcharge was a surprise (it was mentioned in the fine print I didn’t see it). I’ve not encountered parking fees with hotels in this vicinity. What are you trying to be like Portland?? "
