"Loved everything except paying for parking. They have an open parking lot, not a parking garage, and it is insane that they charge a guest $15 plus tax to park. As well as the hotel charge. Parking should be free for guests. That in itself may keep me away next time."

"La Residence is a sweet, older hotel. If you're seeking a modern boujee experience, this isn't it. It's a simple place with antique charm. I enjoyed it very much! "Love staying here, staff is great, location is great, free parking is a real plus. Near Georgetown bars and restaurants, not far from downtown. Have stayed here many times. Only complaint is I find the beds her to not be very comfortable but I keep coming back because everything else is great."

"It's pretty average for a Motel 6, we saw a guy tweaking down the street at the gas station (he parked, got out of his SUV and danced like a maniac for a very long time), but I was extremely happy with the night manager - she was super nice and helpful. It can be hard finding affordable accommodations in this area, but this was fine for the night."
