"The staff were excellent, professional, and helpful in every way. Everyone spoke to us in English the entire time, which made it so easy to ask for things we needed. The room was big as was the bathroom. The buffet was delicious, especially the French Toast. Our kids were excited to be here. There were plenty of taxis available for us to use, but we also walked to places such as the Imperial Palace and McDonald's."

"Very convenient location. Close to the train station, restaurants. Staff is really helpful. They offer free shuttles to Arishiyama Bamboo Forest and Kinkaku -ji temple which is very convenient. Breakfast is good. Loved our stay. Highly recommend! "

"Bedroom very good size. Good location - opposite Palce Gardens, 10 minute walk to subway station andbus stops. Used for 5 nights, great base for exploring Kyoto's must sees. Very helpful staff ."

"The hotel is really nice and very conveniently located in walking distance to Nishiki market and walkable to some neighborhoods that are all nice and cute. The hotel rooms are small though, but if you just want to use the rooms to sleep at night it's ok. We stayed in a room with a 5 year old sleeping on the floor. The bath downstairs was nice too and we used it the last day. Overall, nice experience. "
