"We had the best customer service in this place, amenities are great and the Japanese breakfast was beautiful and delicious. The only thing i didn't like was the mattress, it was uncomfortable and stained, wich was weird because everything else un the hotel looked new"

"Location! Location! Location! Close to many shopping areas and Gion and a hop and skip to a subway. There also a wonderful Kimono rental shop nearby called Akuru! Above and beyond staff: I lost my JR Pass (had to get the green car one as I have pneumonia and cannot take smoke or smoking smells) and the front desk staff found it! All the staff was really friendly and helpful. Sure the room is a bit outdated but it was clean and loved all the little things they provided in the room like super fluffy bath robes, bath salts, qtips, etc. Anyhow place was so good we extended our stay and was able to nab one of the few ones left. Next time I’m in Kyoto, I’m staying at this hotel for longer than the 3 nights. "
