"Very traditional Japanese hotel. Enjoyed the experience but as an American, I didn’t think the food was very good and I typically love Japanese food. There was an excessive use of gelatin coating on many of the dishes. Also, 2.25 hours for dinner was too long. We waited 15 mins after finishing each course to get the next one. "

"We had an amazing time at this Ryokan - traditional Japanses hotel. We had a junior suite, so spacious, itcwas so relaxing. Buffet breakfast, good selection was included. We had kimonos, socks and shoes in room and traditional sweets in room everyday with an explanation of their origin. Would recommend the teahouse evening with tea house tour. Walking takes 30 mins to castle and centre."

"This was my favorite stay out of all of my accomodations in Japan even if I was only there for a day (wish I stayed longer!). Soku-san and his wife are the kindest people ever and offered amazing hospitality. Gao is the cutest dog I've ever seen and I was super happy to get a picture with him at the end of my stay. The home is very clean and the room very spacious. The home is in a quiet residential neighborhood that is a very short walk away from a bus stop. There is also a convenience store...

"This is a beautiful renovation of a historic building . Feels like a more modern take on a mix of traditional inn / condo . It was the perfect space for our family of 4. We stayed in the Sakura suite and all used the outdoor tub. Location is a little bit away from the main sightseeing area in Kanazawa , but easy access by bus or taxi . We liked the quiet area around the inn . We will definitely stay here again ."
