"We stayed here for eight days in October with two couples, both 60+. Everything about the villa was as advertised and more. Especially the living and dining rooms are large and comfortable, the grounds are beautifully maintained, the beds very comfortable, all the amenities excellent, and the hosts were always available and kind and helpful. Montfoort is centrally located and it was wonderful after a busy day of sightseeing to come “home” and not have to unpack but just relax. Highly recommended...

"The house is nicely located in a quiet resort with lake view. Very clean! You have to bring your own towels or rent them! The kitchen is equipped for 10 people eating but the cooking equipment is not. The pots and pans are very small. Never was able to figure out how to keep the oven on for more then 5 minutes. "Located a few feet from a nice harbor where you can grab a meal or a drink a watch beautiful sunsets, the house was located conveniently to many cities (you’ll need a car) or stay local and go sailing, SUP, motorboat or swim in the clear water. Good sized house was clean, beds comfortable, had all basic necessities. We had a wonderful holiday visiting family and sightseeing. Went sailing and boating.. Beautiful mini golf course and pannekoeken nearby. Thanks, Yolanda!"

"We stayed in the island lodge. The lodge itself is very nice, only downpoint of the actual lodge is lack of storage space in the kitchen. My biggest complaints about this place were 1. When making the booking it NEVER mentioned that the only way to access your lodge is via a small rowing boat. I kid you not. I was with a family of 5, and none of us had ever rowed a boat a day in our lives. Had i known this upfront i would never have booked this lodge. THIS ROOM IS NOT SUITABLE FOR ANYONE WITH...
