"A lovely experience overall. Friendly staff and a fantastic location. My 13 year old daughter and I booked the Superior Twin Room. There was a major incident in central Amsterdam the day we travelled and we had some trouble getting to the hotel as there were no trams. We were stressed, tired and hungry were given an unexpected bill and not shown to our room. There was a 'Burlesque' book in the room to look at, which was strange with a teenager. "If you like historic properties, in a central locations, this is for you. Modern gleaming bathrooms offset the darkish, rich red rooms and interiors. The lobby is small, and we were restricted to the bar lounge for dinner with a limited menu of average quality. "Location, location, location. Just a few meters from the Central Station, so you have easy access to local trains to the airport or the windmill region, to international trains and to all metro lines and almost all tram lines. "The appartment was really big, spacious and 3 out of 4 walls were in windows, which made rhe room opened, bright. But had curtains to close at night. A small kitchen was also nice, just enough to use for basic dinner. Loved it. "

"We stayed in the island lodge. The lodge itself is very nice, only downpoint of the actual lodge is lack of storage space in the kitchen. My biggest complaints about this place were 1. When making the booking it NEVER mentioned that the only way to access your lodge is via a small rowing boat. I kid you not. I was with a family of 5, and none of us had ever rowed a boat a day in our lives. Had i known this upfront i would never have booked this lodge. THIS ROOM IS NOT SUITABLE FOR ANYONE WITH...
