"The place is lovely, but beware of Belvilla. I meant to book through Vrbo but had trouble with my American credit card so went through Belvilla instead. Huge mistake. I ended up accidentally booking multiple units, which were cancelled except for 2. Despite repeated attempts with multiple representatives they would not cancel the other one so I ended up with 2. They tried telling me they could not get in touch with the holiday park. I called the holiday park and they said THEY could not cancel...

"Esmeer bei Aalst ist für Radtouren ideal gelegen und ist ruhig und gepflegt. Unser Chalet hatte ausser im Aussenbereich alles was man für einen Ferienaufenthalt braucht! Die Kapselkaffeemaschine war anfangs gewöhnungsbedürftig und ist nicht umweltfreundlich, aber die gesamte Technik funktionierte sehr gut. Die Terrasse war allerdings nur mit sehr ausgebleichten Kunststoffmöbeln ohne Sitzpolster und ohne Sonnenschirm ausgestattet. Die Betonplatten waren im Laufe der Jahre wohl sehr uneben...

"This place was better than our expectations!! We wanted to see Amsterdam, Keukenhof, and also Doornenburg Castle and didn’t want to switch locations every night. "Es war alles vorhanden was man braucht. Eine sehr gut ausgestattete Küche, schöne Sitzecke, gute Betten und sogar ein privater Steg zum Baden. Bei der Lage ist allerdings zu beachten, dass man im Grunde nur mit dem Auto anreisen kann da der nächste Ort zu Fuß 50 Minuten entfernt ist. Von dort aus kann man allerdings per pr und Bahn nach Utrecht fahren."

It may have had some water damage in the past because it smelled a little of mildew if we didn’t keep the door and window open. Nice, well appointed living room and kitchen.
