"The place is lovely, but beware of Belvilla. I meant to book through Vrbo but had trouble with my American credit card so went through Belvilla instead. Huge mistake. I ended up accidentally booking multiple units, which were cancelled except for 2. Despite repeated attempts with multiple representatives they would not cancel the other one so I ended up with 2. They tried telling me they could not get in touch with the holiday park. I called the holiday park and they said THEY could not cancel...

"Esmeer bei Aalst ist für Radtouren ideal gelegen und ist ruhig und gepflegt. Unser Chalet hatte ausser im Aussenbereich alles was man für einen Ferienaufenthalt braucht! Die Kapselkaffeemaschine war anfangs gewöhnungsbedürftig und ist nicht umweltfreundlich, aber die gesamte Technik funktionierte sehr gut. Die Terrasse war allerdings nur mit sehr ausgebleichten Kunststoffmöbeln ohne Sitzpolster und ohne Sonnenschirm ausgestattet. Die Betonplatten waren im Laufe der Jahre wohl sehr uneben...

"Wir hatten eine schöne Zeit und einen Ort zum abschalten und zur Ruhe zu kommen. Die Häuser sind geschmackvoll eingerichtet und man fühlt sich sehr wohl. Außerdem ist die Küche gut ausgestattet. Alles war sauber und komfortabel. Das meiste ist vor Ort oder in einem kleinen Laden im Ort erhältlich. Der einzige Schwachpunkt war die Geräuschkulisse durch Rasenmäher und den Bauhof direkt hinter unserem Haus. Empfehlenswert!"

"Friendly neighbours, towels cost extra per person we found quite expensive, oven not working, sink in small bathroom clogged, empty kitchen (not even salt), cutlery in uncomfortable position (had to bend down weirdly), fast heating, comfy beds, great tables and chairs in the living room"

"Everything we needed was there. The place was smaller than we thought, as it was listed for 6. Especially the bedrooms were small. Nice to have good outdoor settings. There was a list inside with requests from the owner which was not on the booking site, such as cleaning toilet, mowing lawn and other gardening."

"The appartment was really big, spacious and 3 out of 4 walls were in windows, which made rhe room opened, bright. But had curtains to close at night. A small kitchen was also nice, just enough to use for basic dinner. Loved it. "

"We stayed in the island lodge. The lodge itself is very nice, only downpoint of the actual lodge is lack of storage space in the kitchen. My biggest complaints about this place were 1. When making the booking it NEVER mentioned that the only way to access your lodge is via a small rowing boat. I kid you not. I was with a family of 5, and none of us had ever rowed a boat a day in our lives. Had i known this upfront i would never have booked this lodge. THIS ROOM IS NOT SUITABLE FOR ANYONE WITH...
