"This is a great place for a family to stay, knowing its more of a budget friendly accommodation. My kids loved the pool and breakfast. That being said, it could use some attention to detail. The "gym" machines were out of order, the bathroom fan sounded awful, the mirror was crooked on the wall, little fixes could make it an even better place to stay. "

"Good stuff: Breakfast food was good (especially the cinnamon rolls!)! There was light classical music on the TVs. So refreshing not to have to watch news or morning talk shows! "Con the manager was very accomidating and seen actively cleaning and doing various things throughout the duration that we were there. I thought I left somthing, so I called and Con was nice enough to go and check the room. If there was anything I ddint particularly care for, it was the breakfast. I feel there could have been a different setup to keep the food warm. Aside from that, beds were comfortablr and the price and hospitality were just what I was looking for!!! Thank you Con Heather-"

"This is a motel on the main drag of Custer. Easy walking to bars and many restaurants. It’s an older hotel and not much to look at on the outside. However the rooms are large and nicely appointed. Comfortable beds, nice towels, indoor pool and hot tub, coffee maker, nice size TV, in room are just some of the amenities. If you can get a good deal on it, it’s a great place. Took one star off as it’s a little pricey. Custer is a great base camp for the southern blackhills."

"This was a great place to stay. The cabin was wonderful, the quiet was excellent, and it was easy to access. I would have given 5 stars, but some basic amenities like hand soap and shower soap should be provided or it could be clearer that these basics will not be there. An extra blanket for anyone staying during the colder months would also be appreciated. Other than that, I loved it!"

"I love that these cabins are off the main road so you feel like you are out in the country but really you are only a mile off the highway going through Custer. Kitchen well-stocked, beds comfy, nice bathroom. WiFi and a small tv were nice too. Great communication with the owners. Very friendly. I hope to return again someday!! "

"This is a brand new cabin in Custer, very clean, nicely decorated and more amenities than we expected: mini fridge with freezer, glass stove top, kitchen sink, dishes/silverware, coffee, and some more that we were pleased to find. The listing was a little confusing as to the bed set up, so I'll clarify. There is a bunk bed with a twin top and queen bottom, a loft that's a twin, and a futon that's a twin. All bedding is included. The steps to get to the loft are not stairs, but actually shelves...
