"This was the perfect place for us to stay on our week away during spring break. We stayed with my parents as well as our children, 3 and 6 y/o. There is plenty of space and the loft is great for a little separation when needed (our kids spent some time drawing and doing crafts upstairs). The hot tub is lovely, kitchen is nicely stocked with supplies. They really have thought of everything - plenty of towels, night lights, extra toiletries, games, lots of blankets. Jack was great at communicating and even came by to clear snow off of the driveway and porches. Cabin is cozy, close to Custer and Hill City as well as Mount Rushmore and the wildlife loop. We were able to visit Reptile Gardens which was great for our little ones and an easy drive. Would recommend to anyone looking for a comfortable cabin, either for just a small family or with extended family. "

The inclusion of a washing machine, dryer, and a fully equipped office space was incredibly convenient, ensuring that all our needs were met, whether for leisure or occasional work tasks.Safety was clearly a priority, with a carbon monoxide detector, smoke detector, fire extinguisher, and first aid kit all readily accessible, which gave us peace of mind throughout our stay. "This property was super fun with lots of LOTR references. It was very close to Custer and Custer State Park and great to serve as a base. Facility was clean and sauna view was top notch. A warning - if you are over 6’-4”, note there is a fair amount of headbangers in the location and shower/door thresholds are low."

"Our short stay went well. We were only there for 2 nights with our dog but found the property owner and her dogs very nice. There are four pugs who you'll likely see a few times during your stay, so be aware of your pets if you bring them. The main house where the property owner lives is just far enough away to provide privacy. Everything was clean and well kept."
