"You won’t find a better property in chimney rock. They did a great job with the updates to the grounds and the rooms. The “backyard” is amazing. The only negative to come by is the $50 charge to check in early. $50 for a couple hours? If the room is ready, let the guests in! I know it’s policy and I get it. Lots of hotels try it, just pet peeve of mine when traveling. Again though, just an amazing spot!"

"We chose this place based purely on its location and hoped for the best. It didn’t wow us, but it didn’t disappoint. "Lake lure took a big hit to the storm. But this cabin had all we needed to keep us occupied during our stay. Restaurants and some shops are open. Loved how everyone is so open to helping each other. House was so lovely, owner was very accommodating. Anytime I had a question. I texted him personally. He responded very quickly. I highly recommend this house. We will come back."
