"GLK Acropol staff was very kind and helpful throughout our stay in Istanbul, especially Mustafa and Emre. Hussein at reception was helpful in arranging the Bosphorus Cruise for us as well as transfer back to IST on our departure day. Although the hotel is a bit old, the management has kept it well maintained. The location of the hotel is phenomenal, however do keep in mind there several bars on this street, if you sleep in early be aware it can be some what noisy at night. "

"Our Sultanahmet Suites experience was mixed. Initially we were given a very small room which was clearly not what we paid for. Fatih, the manager was a great guy and very accommodating. We eventually changed rooms 4 times during our week long stay for one reason or another but the last two rooms were nice and spacious albeit with minor issues like AC out of order or drains blocked. Overall would recommend but suggest making sure you check which room you've paid for."

"Good location and pretty quiet. Very short walk to the mosques. Decor is dated and kind of silly but the room is ok. "

"Great location for the sea and blue masjid. Hotel satisfactory as we got a refurbished room. The seagulls were a nightmare non stop noise but not the fault of the hotel. Best to book your own transfer from the airport we were charged double by the hotel, not happy. "
