"It's too bad the hotel was in such bad shape! We were looking forward to some rest and relaxation. The Onsen main bath was closed due to maintenance so men and women had to take turns using the other bath. Asking about nearby restaurants for dinner because hotel's dinner was only available with reservations, front desk clerk clearly told us there were only izakayas, bars, available nearby. "This is the place to visit if you want a quiet and relaxing onsen experience. This family run ryokan is easy to find and offers a truly traditional Japanese experience.
