"Having a nice size pool that is only feet from the beach let's you enjoy the best of both. The included buffet breakfast was excellent. Plenty of options within a short walk and a very short car ride to the walled city. I went with my wife and two teenage kids and would definitely stay there again. "

"The entire staff was fabulous and it is unfortunate that I do not remember all of their names, despite the fact that everyone of them knew my name. A special thank you to Maria at the adult pool. He and his team were very attentive to our needs and made us feel as though we had the pool all to ourselves. Also, all of the drivers provided exceptional service as did the breakfast staff. The concierge’s were always on top of everything providing a worry-free experience, we thank them all. Hotel Sofitel Baru is a hidden gem that we definitely plan to return!"
