We messaged the host for the final access details as we were arriving and got no response. We called VRBO who provded details to contact the host directly and also no response. "We received no communication from the owner of how to access the property. We were standing outside and had to contact VRBO support. The house is in an awful area, the garden hasn't been mown in years and there is trash around the property. We were only provided with two towels for a family and they said that was all we needed. I will never use VRBO again as they don't care about their customers experience."

"Great place to stay with good travel links. Basic but clean and very comfortable! Owner in good communication too. Cooking facilities weren’t the best (oven kept smoking) but informed the owner and they responded quickly to say they would look into it. Thank you!"

"Contacted property manager and Vrbo the day before to enquire about accessing the property. Received no response. Called the owner at 9.15 on the day. He sounded confused but raised no issue, so I got on with my day. Received a text after 10.30 to say the property was not available! Apparently vrbo had not coordinated the availability. Host offered to book us into a local hotel…. Not ideal as we could have done that ourselves (and chosen a better hotel) but we had plans with friends and dinner...
