"Just a lovely little cottage as advertised, in a super convenient location. Everything was available within a short walk from the cottage. It served as a great base from which to explore other nearby villages and attractions, some even within walking distance using the trail whose access was literally behind the cottage. "We enjoyed our long weekend stay at Bury Fields. Great power shower, comfy beds, well equipped kitchen and good location, near the town but in the countryside. Would recommend bringing some coat hangers with you as mentioned in a few previous reviews but this is a very minor point. Overall a lovely stay, thank you. "

"We loved this place as soon as we set our eyes on it, both from the outside and the inside. Plenty of space in all rooms and everything else that you'd need, from wood to make a fire to a few biscuits and tea. Spotlessly clean and tidy. Lovely grounds too. Not too far from the hills for walking or visiting nearby villages and towns. Plenty of local walks too. The pub up the road, The Butchers Arms serves excellent food as well as drinks. All in all, an excellent place to stay. Thank you. "

Our host, Emily, was very helpful with info about travelling to and from the town and responded to enquiries quickly. The fire in the lounge was a lovely focal point throughout the time we were there and we would love to return in summer when we could use the pool. "We stayed three nights for a family wedding locally. The house was spacious downstairs which was a plus due to the weather as it was very stormy and cloudy and foggy! The house had everything we needed lovely terraces which we would have loved to use if only the rain had stopped!
