"This house was perfect for our group of nine friends on a winter climbing holiday. It was warm, very comfortable and was probably the best-equipped house I've ever stayed in. The kitchen had everything we needed to cater for our large (and hungry) group, including a very good coffee machine and plenty of large pans and roasting trays. It was clean, cosy and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. 10 min walk into aviemore and 12 min drive to landmark adventure forest. "If you are looking for peace, quiet and the experience of remote living in Scotland the White House is just perfect. Car necessary as it’s a 25 min drive to nearest town with facilities. We had hired cars which was just as well as there was no way our own cars could have coped with the terrain and the snowy weather.
