"If you are looking for peace, quiet and the experience of remote living in Scotland the White House is just perfect. Car necessary as it’s a 25 min drive to nearest town with facilities. We had hired cars which was just as well as there was no way our own cars could have coped with the terrain and the snowy weather. "Only stayed for three nights, but thought it was a lovely place. The room decor is very modern/contemporary, which is what I like. Bed and bedding was comfortable, but was only a small double bed, presumably because the room was quite small. We will stay again , but will book a bigger room next time."
