"This is a gorgeous boutique hotel with lovely decorated spacious rooms with kitchenettes. There are great cafes and bars right next door and across the street. It’s become my go to hotel in New Plymouth. "

"Proprty was central to town which was handy for bars, restaurants and shopping. Room was ok but a bit tired. Soap dispenser bracket on wall was loose so had to remove. Toilet has water streaks, chairs were torn and needed a proper clean. One thing that puzzled us was that the bar / restuarant closed from 2pm to 4pm. Why? Especially when people like us are looking for a refreshment in the hotel. Perhaps short staffed maybe."

"It was a bonus to be able to park outside our room. Happy with the location. Failed to contact reception when we wanted something. It wasn't a biggie but wanted a cloth to wipe down the bench after use. There was also no tee-towel in the room on arrival."

"We stayed here at the end of our trip and it was the perfect place to relax, enjoy the beautiful scenery and listen to the sounds of the surf and birds. Seth, Nuala and David all made a point of stopping by to see how we were settling in and it was lovely to read the history behind the creation of the villas. Cannot recommend this place enough - would still be there if we could ☺️"
