The setting is very relaxing. To be able to look out over the river was so nice. We did not want to stay in town. We found the short trip out to the property was well worth the effort. To be away from the noise and have such a relaxing setting really made the time there everything we wanted. Very friendly staff. Clean room. Loved the double push back sliding door to better take in the view and sound of the river. We would stdy again without a doubt. A real gem of a place.

Had a great time - terrific accommodation, lovely setting, free laundry, restaurant, serviced daily - we were there for 4 nights. There was wifi but it worked intermittently. Manager was very friendly and helpful. Altogether, I would highly recommend.

What a gorgeous spot
What a fabulous place to stay. The view was just lovely, the room was fabulous - it felt like a real rest just being there. Will absolutely stay again.

We enjoyed our stay in the unit. It was quiet and the view was stunning. It was clean and pleasant. We did not manage to make the television work on Netflix and the instructions did not match the remote control. We felt old which we are when we could not make the technology work for us. We wouls definately recomend staying there.

Beautiful scenery at the hotel property. I can see events being held here as well. The restaurant on site serves very good food with beautiful presentation. For the price, I’d come back every time I come to new Plymouth area. Friendly staff as well.

10/10 amazing place to stay! About 3-4 km outside of town and very isolated and peaceful up on a hill. Each building has about 4 rooms - very spacious, full kitchen, nice bathroom and again the views are beautiful! Very convenient location too if heading out to Egmont national park.

What a beautiful place. HUGE beds and rooms. Comfortable and clean. Serene setting. This is a great place for people seeking a luxurious nature get-away. The sound of the river and view of the greenery is very relaxing. Andrew was very kind and helpful, providing great advice on places nearby. We will be back whenever we visit New Zealand's north island again.
