"Life House Berkshires looks great, but no one actually works there. Or at least that's how it seemed during our stay. I never got the welcome text they said I would get to be able to communicate with staff. I called the 800 number once to try to get someone and couldn't get a person. I finally did get a person the next time I tried that number and that was to tell them that when we came back for the day after housekeeping had been there, our sink was clogged with muddy water. "This was a lovely hotel right in the middle of town. There’s no front desk so you’ll get your room number and codes for the front door and your room before you arrive, which is fine with us. The building is beautiful and the lobby is really inviting. Our room was spacious and really nicely furnished, and super clean. I’ll definitely stay again next time I’m in Hudson. "
