"We were visiting family the property is modern and comfortable. How to get in and communication with the host was fantastic.The only down rating is due to the kitchen and bathroom with the dishwasher being unusable due to broken kickboard, marks on cupboards not cleaned and bathroom needs a bit of attention"

"We informed Host and Stay the day we arrived the toilet down stairs was not working. We called them each day we were there to get resolution. They came to look at the toilet the next day in the afternoon and yet they did not fix the toilet. They made no attempt the remaining 2 days we were there. When we left 2 days later, the toilet had not been fixed. Host and Stay has been non-responsive as to offering us a refund."

"Excellent venue with lots of parking. Very clean and spacious. This was a last minute booking and communication was poor. You don't get access instructions until you pay a waiver that costs either an additional £10 or £25 depending on what you choose. And then you have to chase to get it back. Sounds a bit of a con to me but I had no choice. Overall though the property was excellent, just let down by a poor letting agent in my opinion."

"1. Getting difficult to.find the exact location of property, its helpful if mentioned the building name. 2.Whole night struggled to run the heating but didnt work survived without heating. 3. Wifi id provided not available in the premises. "

"The lodge was perfect. Spotlessly clean and pretty and everything you could need. However what made our holiday absolutely perfect was the garden the lodge is set in. Stunningly beautiful, magical grounds that you could see from all sides of the lodge. With a folly perfect for an outdoor fire and BBQ. Central to all of the North East and Durham attractions. I have been twice now and can’t wait to go again. Magical!"

"Great weekend in a beautiful place, plenty of space for us all to be and each bedroom very comfortable. Easy access for taking a walk on the cliffs to saltburn which a few of the group attempted! All in all a great property that was clean and spacious and good for large groups."
