"We were visiting family the property is modern and comfortable. How to get in and communication with the host was fantastic.The only down rating is due to the kitchen and bathroom with the dishwasher being unusable due to broken kickboard, marks on cupboards not cleaned and bathroom needs a bit of attention"

"Excellent venue with lots of parking. Very clean and spacious. This was a last minute booking and communication was poor. You don't get access instructions until you pay a waiver that costs either an additional £10 or £25 depending on what you choose. And then you have to chase to get it back. Sounds a bit of a con to me but I had no choice. Overall though the property was excellent, just let down by a poor letting agent in my opinion."

"The lodge was perfect. Spotlessly clean and pretty and everything you could need. However what made our holiday absolutely perfect was the garden the lodge is set in. Stunningly beautiful, magical grounds that you could see from all sides of the lodge. With a folly perfect for an outdoor fire and BBQ. Central to all of the North East and Durham attractions. I have been twice now and can’t wait to go again. Magical!"

"Communication with the host, Janette, was excellent. We arrived and the home was immaculate, beautifully decorated and the welcome hamper , was amazing. "The railway carriage was a lovely place for my dog and I to call home while we visited friends in Newcastle. Great walks on the doorstep and Newcastle is deceptively easy to get to.We visited the Column to Liberty at Gibside today that we could see from our window. Very well equipped for such a cosy space and the treats were much appreciated. Thank you "

"Had a lovely few days in Windsor Cottage. Property was as described and ideally located next to a convenience store. Just a short walk to the beach and all the amenity that Saltburn has to offer. Highly recommend."

"Absolutely superb from initial booking to leaving(didnt want to leave).Lynne is a great host nothing was to much absolutely recommend this property, everything was spot on.Nice welcome basket,Durham 15 mins away,great shopping centre 10 mins away, couple of pubs(never used)working mens club(very friendly)Would not hesitate to use Lynnes property again."
