"After reading reviews we decided to miss out on an event last year. This year we decided to ignore reviews and seen for ourselves. We came this year to.the event. We were pleasantly surprised. Old building but clean. The staff were very friendly and helpful So returned this weekend for a short break and will come back again. . "

"A lovely old property(150 years old) where they have kept some of the original features. I think it is due for an update in a few years but I hope they keep some of the original features. We stayed in the Coastguard cottages which were excellent but connected to the hotel with a covered walkway. The staff were excellent and very obliging. The evening meals were excellent although breakfasts were typical large hotel buffet style.i would still recommend it though."
