"We had a lovely stay. The breakfast was first class, as were the staff. I have two comments about our room (8) - the pillows were a bit lumpy and if we had occasion to stay again, I’d request not to stay in this room because of the two steep steps down into the bathroom. Younger folk may have no problem with them but being that much older and having creaky knees, it wasn’t easy to negotiate them. Thankfully there was a very sturdy rail to hold onto.
