"We really enjoyed our time at Starkhaus! It is an easy walk or very short drive into Sister Bay, where you can enjoy the beach, marina, restaurants, and shops. It is also an easy drive to Newport State Park, Ellison Bay, Bailey's Harbor, etc. In short, we were able to kayak, hike, see the Cana Island Lighthouse, visit the Ridges Sanctuary, etc. within only a 15-20 minute drive. Heat vent in bathroom rusted from overspray of pee next to toilet. Stained dishes that cleaned up after a couple washes. Back step to deck is a significant drop, almost fell twice. "This is a renovated log cabin right on Green Bay. It’s been well-cared-for, and owners have thought of several ways to make guests feel welcomed and comfortable.
