"Hotel itself is incredibly clean. Rooms are great. I agree with previous reviewers that the slowness of ipad to control all room settings is eventually annoying. Not a place you want to linger outside, the homeless shelter next to hotel is not ideal…lots of lingering homeless outside and at one point hanging out in the lobby area."

"The manager was so kind. We traveled as a family of three with our 11 month old. We booked a room on one of the higher floors, and the manager held another room for us for the first night in case we wanted to move since there was going to be noise from the club below. It ended up being just fine, but the thought was so considerate. "

"Great location for the price! Staff was friendly and attentive. Ex: rooms are not serviced every day, but a quick phone call got our room turned over without issue. They also provide a large number of toiletries that one might need, and were great about storing our bags after check out so we could roam the city for a few hours. I'd love the corners of the shower to get a little attention, but other than than, great property and would recommend! Rooms are very small, so pack light preferably. "

"The hotel is located relatively close to subway stations and to battery park. The breakfast was also decent and included hot food items that were refilled throughout breakfast service. It was a nice touch that our room included a kitchenette with dishes which came in handy our takeout meals. The staff were also very polite and very helpful. I will definitely consider staying here again for my next trip to NYC."
