"Excellent!! Warm welcome followed by delightful service at dinner. Delicious mushrooms and pie - and plenty of it. The room is furnished in a modern style with everything I needed, including a comfortable bed. All this followed by my favourite breakfast - eggs Benedict cooked to perfection. "

"Stayed for 2 nights and wow what a lovely place. We were made to feel welcome from the moment we arrived. The restaurant/pub food is absolutely delicious and the breakfast equally so. Met two female housemaids and they were so lovely and friendly it made our stay so much more comfortable. Would highly recommend staying at Sturdys castle when visiting Oxford or the surrounding area. "

"This was our 9th time here, as a group of fellow motorcyclists, this place is a Central meeting place for all of us. The Dog house could do with a lick of paint, but it is clean. Good selection of drinks, decent meals and a good breakfast. "

"We booked this place only for a couple of nights as we needed somewhere to stay whilst i attended a local hospital. The property itself is nicely renovated, keeping old features of the barn with modern heating and bathroom etc which was lovely. Checkin was easy and the owners were nearby if needed but not intrusive. Nice big sofa and clean everywhere, nice bath and underfloor heating. The surrounding area is lovely, and I imagine if we attended during a time where the whole country wasnt...
