"We absolutely loved our long weekend in Massanutten. The property was beautiful and overlooked the mountains, and the communications with the property owner was fantastic! The hot tub really was a highlight. It’s also very close to the ski resort, really only a 5 minute drive. We highly recommend staying here, especially if you have a larger group. "

"We loved the Pistachio Nut! The game room was a blast for the whole family and the living room is set up for hanging out and relaxing. Mike is very kind and helpful and has really set up a lovely rental. Definitely a great place to stay while at Massanutten resort!"

"If you are looking for a rustic, off grid, romantic mountain getaway- this is the rental for you. There is no Wi-Fi, and we did not have cell phone service- so do your research about the area before you arrive. The hosts did have a guest book with a plethora of information about the area and attractions. The drive to the cabin is not for the feint of heart, but it was secluded and private with stunning views. Just a short drive to town for groceries and about 30 minutes to Shenandoah National...

"We had a great adventure coming to ski for a few days. The house is very close to the slopes. What I did not anticipate was coming into town in a snowstorm. Very thankful for a kind snow plow truck who cleared the way for our van to make it Down the road and then up the hill to be able to make it into the house. Great memories! "

"This house is perfectly set up for babies and toddlers. The toy nook upstairs and playroom (with air hockey table) were big hits- we had a 7 month old and two three year olds. It’s super close to the water park and ski slope, so you won’t run out of things to do on a family vacation. "

"Our stay was very enjoyable, the host was extremely responsive and helpful. The cabin itself is in a gorgeous location, when they say secluded they meant it! WiFi and internet service were very reliable, there were a couple great places to eat in the tiny town nearby (check out The Italian Job, you won’t regret it!) and Walmart was about 20 minutes away for the essentials. "I was thrilled to find this home nearing the end of the winter season. It was a treat to stay here - the furniture and decor was thoughtful and made for cozy nights. My family enjoyed the s’mores kit, the fire pit and the swings out back overlooking the golf course. The host was helpful and responsive. "

"Excellent place to hang out for a family/couple retreat. We used it as a base to explore the NOVA area. It’s a little far for the Dulles/Tyson area, but western areas were fine. Beds were very comfortable. No cell coverage, but non issue with WiFi. Movie projector and sauna were nice touches! Would stay again. "

"My extended family got together for a ski weekend at Massanutten. The Chalet provided a great space for family meals and fun in between skiing and snow tubing. The resort was a short drive away. Large driveway for parking. Well-stocked kitchen. Extra blankets that were perfect for cozying up by the downstairs fire while the kids played pool and ping pong. We’ll be back! "
