"This hotel was a great find and within walking distance to many museums, the river and Ubahn / Sbahn stops. The restaurant attached to the hotel is also great - but otherwise dining options are about 25 mins walk toward the city centre. Would stay again!"

The breakfast buffet has a variety of options. We booked as its close to phantasialand, and would recommend it to anyone planning on a trip there. "

"If you crave perfection...this is not your hotel. This is an older hotel in a spectacular location!! We rented a family suite. It had two bedrooms and a living room and slept 4 adults VERY comfortably. It is not a luxury hotel but it was clean and every request me made was met with cheerful compliance. My only complaint is that the shower is very small...think cruise ship small. It is a 1k walk to the train station to Cologne. "

"Great room for a budget stay. Room was clean and comfortable, and very quiet despite the main road outside (good double glazing). Close to an underground station, and onlly 10 minutes' walk to Neumarkt - a big shopping area with a Lidl and Aldi. "The hotel is situated in a great location for wandering round the city or jumping on the train. Comfortable beds, nice sized rooms, excellent shower and bathroom. The breakfast buffet is extensive and delicious! The pool and spa facilities were very good also. Would return again in a heartbeat. "
