"We had a fantastic stay at this holiday house! The views are absolutely amazing – you can soak in the beauty of the sea from almost every angle. The house itself is incredibly spacious, with plenty of room for the kids to play and relax. The master bedroom is stunning. We especially loved how easy it was to access the sea, the beach, and the coastal path – perfect for morning swims and scenic walks. Highly recommend for families or anyone looking to unwind by the coast in comfort. "

"Accomodation was fantastic and welcome to the site was brilliant. Only issue we encountered was the external sewage pipes as they ran along side the cabin. From day 1 it appeared to be a problem with some sort of blokage and contractor out every morning trying to sort it out. The foul stench left behind after contractor finished was quite overwhelming, especially coming back into the main bedroom ensuite toilet. Thankfully we were out and about everyday with friends, so only had to contend with...

"Beautiful and modern house…we enjoyed our stay, but the only issue is the hot tub is not clean, loads of dirt noticed in the water, which is disappointing because we don’t want to use the hot tub again."

"The site was very clean and well presented. The caravans were exceptionally clean and the extra little touches like towels, tea, coffee and sugar plus milk were a great touch. The food in the restaurant was hot, fresh and reasonably priced which was a bonus."

"Lovely location, next to a small farm. Great views from the balcony, stars at night were spectacular. Nice waking up to the rooster and cows. Our large dog loved the securely enclosed paddock with a lake in the middle. Extremely cosy and warm cottage."

"With great views. Having stayed in lots of properties around Fowey great location and clean. Frustrating to not have salt/pepper/cooking oil/enough hand soap. These sort of things are expected with rentals"

"We booked The Avalon for a multi generational family holiday with 12 adults, two children, two babies and 3 dogs! The layout and facilities were perfect for us. It is rare to find a large property with a bathroom for every room. The Avalon had everything we needed and is very well equipped. The thoughtful additions such as travel cots, high chairs, dog bowls and dog beds made everything a little easier. The property was clean and well maintained and the communication with Darren and Vikki...

"House location was very good just few yards from the sea, but the facilities were very poor. This was the first time ever holiday where their were no bedsheets, no pillow covers, no blanket covers in any rooms, no towels and the worst part was we had been notified at the last minute to bring our own sheets and towels which is just a day before arrival. Some of the pots and pans were dirty not even washed so we were bit disappointed."

"Such great value just outside a fab village a short way to beaches and Padstow. Very clean and fresh with small garden. The lack of a coffee maker / plunger a bit annoying and only just enough plates etc. otherwise great. "

"Excellent stay at the Old Custom House over Easter weekend. We were able to get into our room early and were pleased with how nicely decorated and well equipped the room was. We also had a lovely view from the two windows over the very pretty harbour. The bed was very comfortable and although quite small, the room was full of character. Staff were friendly and welcoming at the hotel and the lady doing breakfast both mornings we were there was delightful. Breakfast was included in our room rate and was very good."

"Overall, a great few days at this hotel. Negatives - mattress was a little hard for me. The afternoon tea was a little disappointing, the sandwiches were a little crispy around the edges where they hadn’t been made to order and the scones were overcooked. However, positives far outweighed the negatives. The receptionist was extremely friendly on arrival. Every member of staff we met were welcoming and friendly, going out of their way to please. The front of house for breakfast were exceptional. I had a massage, I had Merryn, this was the highlight of my trip and will stay with me forever, due to the conversation we had. What a special lady. ❤️ Overall, we will certainly return. We have come away refreshed and happy. "
