"Let us be clear on what this place is. This residence is a series of rooms which are the extensions to someone's house. The accommodations are simple in that you have bedroom, bathroom, tv, internet and maybe a kitchen. If you are ok with this setup, then this is a fantastic place to stay. The host Gregory is very friendly and ready to accommodate. Wifi wasn't a problem for me. I walked to the Sky Mall to get groceries which is about 20 minutes away though part is a long the highway. "My wife and I were celebrating our 35th wedding anniversary, and we had an excellent time there. The staff are very helpful and friendly, the amenities were perfect for a quiet adults only break. My only gripe is that there were not enough sun beds and towels, they should have a rule that if you have not used your bed or towel in an hour you loose the bed as many people would put towels on a bed as early as 7 am and not use the bed until way after lunch. "

"I liked the room and the bathroom was awesome. I would have preferred a room with a balcony. The property itself is nice but it would have been nice to have some more activities on property. The peacocks were lovely to witness but very loud...I understand it was likely due to it being their mating season."

"Cute little hotel... rooms are lovely, grounds a little dated but kept very clean. The food was really good in the restaurant and Hal the bartender is great! It's very reasonable considering the proximity to beach and having a nice little pool around back. A little noisy from being on main road, but handy as well! Would recommend for sure.."

"The staff is so polite here. Amazing mannerisms, and very kind. The Hotel is beautiful, the photos do not do it justice. Our room with the ocean view was so calming and beautiful. You can hear the waves from the ocean. Highly recommend this hotel! "

Back in Paradise

"The property and grounds were beautiful and as advertised and the villa met all our needs. Being slightly handicapped the ground floor accomodations were perfect for accessing the pool. We rented a car for our stay and you would definitely need one if staying in this location. The villas, pools and grounds are immaculately looked after. The people on the premises are very friendly and we would like to give a big shout out to Cheryl, our property manager, who went above and beyond and answered all our questions during booking time."

"ECO Lifestyle and Lodge was a beautiful and relaxing escape, far from the tourist crowds. The breakfast at the restaurant was incredible; the service from the staff was fabulous; the grounds were impeccably kept. We even got to meet the owner because she drove our "shuttle" to the other side of the island. It was also well-placed for great surfing (which is not our thing, but if it's yours, it's perfectly located). I enjoyed a quick trail run and the scenery was amazing. You can walk to the botanical garden and to a few other restaurants for the days that the lodge doesn't serve dinner. I would highly recommend and hope to return!"

Beachfront cottage with air conditioning and stunning views of Bathsheba

Surfers Paradise

"This is a perfect surfers location. Beautiful surf directly across the street, the pictures are accurate, the neighbors are friendly and sitting on the porch watching the surf was heaven. It is not "fancy" - if you have a high maintenance American with you this will not be your rental, but if you want a perfect surf spot to enjoy the views and relax book it. The owner was accessible by What's app as was the car rental co. Be sure to stop for groceries before getting to Bathsheba (only a little market nearby very pricey) and walk to the local spots for meals (some are open on weekends only). We needed a car. On the island you will need GPS (google maps worked) - roads are not well marked. The owner of the VRBO set us up on a fabulous fishing trip - caught Wahoo, Mahi and Barracuda. Definitely recommend if you have the right group. We will be coming back. "

"I'm a pulmonary & critical care physician in Florida, USA. I have lived in many different countries and traveled to more than 40 different countries on 6 different continents. I love nature, healthy living, good-hearted people and delicious food. My week at Naniki cottages under the guidance of my friend and mentor Tom (the owner), has changed my outlook at life. This place is a piece of paradise. No mosquitoes, nothing poisonous or harmful on the island, right next to the best surfing in the Caribbean (the soup bowl) and overall a therapeutic retreat. That mountain in St. Joseph is ranked 3rd in the world in longevity; most people live to 100 years old. I will be going back again and again as I intend to purchase a plot of land in the area to build my dream vacation home for my family one day. "

"This place is unique. Quiet. The view is mesmerizing. Having morning tea on the terrace while listening to sugar cane rustling was the best time of our days. The pool has exceeded our expectations. Loxy is friendly and accommodating host. The place is 7 (seven) minutes driving from the highway. "

"The view was beautiful, a peaceful place; the staff was friendly and courteous. It's not hot on this side; it's very breezy. The internet was not good for using the TV, and the stove sometimes wouldn't turn on. The reception guy came a few times to help us. Those two things could be improved."
