"The location was wonderful, just a few steps to the beach. Wonderful supplies to stay at the beach all day. The place was very clean. Looks to be newly remodeled. We did have a little issue, but the owner made it right. wouldefinitely stay here again"

"This house was perfect for us and our fur baby Miller. The location was great. We could walk across the road to get to the beach, and had a decent view of the beach from the kitchen. "We had a great long weekend on St. George Island! Sandstone is in a great location. We loved being able to walk out of the house on to the beach. The gear credit was a huge plus for us, and we enjoyed our bikes!"

"The photos were taken 15 years ago. This property has been abused and neglected. I should have read the reviews prior to booking, the local Vacasa staff was irresponsible and sometimes snotty. The kitchen is not adequately equipped. The dishes are chipped and the pans are rusty. There are no blinds. There is not an outdoor shower or even a slicker to wash you feet. The walkway is overgrown and full of stickers. Light switches come off in your hand, I had to request 2 service calls on appliances....

"We enjoyed our stay here! The location was perfect! The view was perfect. Plenty of space for our family. We only had a few complaints and they weren’t a big enough deal for me to contact the host. The floor was not cleaned well when we arrived. My toddlers socks and feet were very dirty after walking around in the house. There was a broom and basic swiffer mop but no wipes to go with the swiffer. The house would also benefit from a handy man working on some things. Like some of the light...

"I really thought the property was very nice and clean. Unfortunately the cable did not work (no big deal). Getting into the property was challenging also (the code did not work and never did) so we had to use the key for upstairs. Lastly the coffee maker needs to be replaced as the coffee was brewed cold. Warmed it up in the microwave. While the reservation team was very nice they never checked in about gaining entry to the property and no service technician ever came to repair the door. Again...

"Great house right on the beach! Fantastic property with comfy beds and couches, nice washer and dryer and huge TV. Buck is so easy to work with and has added touches to the property that made us feel welcomed and right at home— laundry detergent, dish detergent, nice chargers next to each bed, beach chairs, umbrellas etc. Would definitely rent here again!"

"We really enjoyed our close beach access. We did put the umbrella and chair out for one in our party who was not getting in the ocean, but we enjoyed just jumping in the ocean for an hour or so and then running back to the house to rinse off in the outdoor shower and then returning to the beach to look for shells or just walk the beach. "We really enjoyed the location's proximity to ocean and peace and quiet of the neighborhood (hardly any street traffic). Very nice patio as well but during our stay we did not have to share it with other renters. The Host was reachable, very nice and tried to rectify problems. On the bad side, the place needed cleaning--the floors and pots and pans were dirty. A better collection of pots and pans and cooking utensils are needed. We also lacked Wi-Fi during the stay."
