"The rooms were spacious and the beds were comfortable and clean. The carpets and bathrooms were not as clean. The showers were unreliable, with low water pressure and unreliable heat. The staff were not hospitable or conscientious and the hotel listings we’re confusing. No food is available from the hotel. Overall the space had a dreary colonial vibe."

"Great location, right next to the Main Street where all the restaurants and shops. The hotel itself is more of a guest house. Rooms are very basic - but very large. Can easily accommodate 4 people. Breakfast is either sri-lanken or western, they are very generous with the quantities. If you are looking for a 4/5 star hotel - it’s not the place for you. It is a low budget option for families who prefer that kind of experience. We enjoyed :)"

"We stayed at the Villa Tea Fields for one night during our visit to Nuwara Eliya. The room was clean/combortable, bathroom was newly renovated/modern. Staff were very attentive and courteous. Breakfast was excellent. The balcony was a great place to relax, read a book, take in the view of the garden - very pleasant experience. We highly recommend the Villa Tea Fields if you're visiting Nuwara Eliya. "

"Ella's Nature Nest is a beautiful spot to spend a few days in a peaceful setting. Close to town, but quiet, the owners are welcoming and hospitable and breakfast is included (not mentioned when booking). Wonderful location to wake up to with stunning views and birdsong. Highly highly recommended."

"Superb accomodation if only for the view from the bed looking out onto the Ella valley. Then a surprisingly fullsome breakfast accompanied by a medley of fruits. The two brothers looking after the place were able to book tuk tuk drivers who did not fleece you like a number of the others in Ella town. Therefore spacious well appointed room with fan. as air conditioning would not normally be necessary in Ella. Also no mosquitoes rather some fruit flies from the surrounding lusious...

"First of all there was no air conditioning, pool and casino although there were mosquito nets as shown on the pictures. We weren’t expecting much given the price but it’s wrong to outright lie on the description. Hosts were very attentive which is a positive and we’re happy to help with organising local transport. "Most beautiful location and nature. Host was so helpful and warm. Explained how to walk to Ella Rock from his property and gave us ideas of what to do locally. Even drew a map!! We had home cooked meals which were delicious And we went on the tea plantation tour at an old factory which he arranged and drove us too Beautiful stay and lovely host ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️"
