"I stay at this hotel every time I am in Springfield. It is right on the edge of the downtown area, so lots of food options in the area. I usually visit Springfield for the Illinois State Fair in August, and this hotel is only a 5-minute drive from the fairgrounds. Always reasonably priced compared to several other hotels in the area. It's a bit older than some, but as long as you aren't looking for anything real modern or fancy, it is a solid stay."

"Nothing fancy here and the hotel is dated, but comfortable place to stay in a great location for downtown Springfield business or visits, and a good value for the price. Staff friendly and helpful though check in took awhile. "
