"Our castle stay was pretty amazing. Very modern rooms and the availability to roam the property made it a great stay. It was also very helpful that the staff spoke English and were so kind. A nice final touch was them sharing a bottle of their wine with us as we departed. A must do!"

"Even though we reserved for 3 people there wasn’t a third bed. The third person is supposed to sleep on the sofa-bed but it wasn’t made and there were no sheets or pillow for the third person. We had to contact the customer service and they told us to find the sheets in the cupboard outside the room. So did we but it was’nt very pleasant. Also we didn’t receive the confirmation e-mail that we as supposed to have the instructions for check-in. We had to call the customer service for that as well....

"This hotel was very, very nice. Definitely upscale but historical. The room was so nice and the very clean. This is my favorite hotel we stayed in while we were traveling in Germany. One plus was you can park right in front. Parking was a big issue at a lot of hotels in Germany. The restaurant was fantastic. Some of the best German food I had in Germany."

"While booking a place for a night close to the highway, I failed to notice there’s no reception. You’re supposed to send an ID copy in advance and get a key code. I noticed this only at the door and had to look for a number to call. The guy was helpful though and just recited the code on the phone. The pros of this place are low price (€55 for a single bed) and location at the gate of a quaint little castle town. While there’s no restaurant, there is a decent pizzeria on the shore less than 1km...

"This hotel is in an historic building inside the old city walls. The rooms are well-appointed, comfortable, and clean. The lighting is nice and warm and there are heavy drapes (not full blackout but dark). There is hotel parking about 5 minutes away on foot. The staff is very kind and friendly. Breakfast was a good value and quite delicious. We definitely recommend and would return on future visits. "

"We were greeted by the staff member who was very sweet and walked us through the lobby and restaurant, as well as the after hours entry just so we could find our way. In addition, it’s a very easy walk to the town center and very convenient. They also provided a treat for my dog which she loved. I would recommend this hotel and hope to return."
