"Our host owner Francesca was in attendance and very engaged in the agribusiness of the Villa. We learned from her the Villa was originally constructed in 16 th century hunting lodge of the DeMedici family. We were given a complimentary wine tasting and tour of the Villa’s production facility. The local town of Vinci was hosting a 400 year anniversary of Leonardo de Vinci and tours of the museum. "Loved this hotel. We stayed here our last night in Florence before going home. Wish we could have stayed for more days. Very nice staff, they held our bags for us until it was time to check in. When we came back from Pisa, our bags were in our room. I would definitely stay again. "
