"We stayed for just on night. The cabin was nice, it's a nice old cabin, floors were squeaky and loud, but I guess that added to the charm. The only complaint is the twin beds were as hard as a rock, felt like laying on plywood. Seeing the devastation in the area was also heartbreaking. The location was perfect for us to enjoy our family in Grassy Creek."

"Description of the place was accurate including location details, surroundings and trains. River is about 20 yards from the house, serene ambiance, quiet relaxing sound. Train watching was enjoyable experience and, on positive side, the trains didn't run at night (or so I think). To make it clear, watching trains wasn't a distant watching, trains run about 10-15 yards from the house. However, it didn't bother us at all to our surprise. "This was our first stay in Damascus. The town definitely charmed us. Staying here, we had several great restaurants/bar that we could walk to. The house was nicely decorated, comfortable, clean and modern. The bed was comfortable. The fenced yard was very nice for our dog but I would not leave him out there alone because the fence didn’t appear to be very sturdy. I would definitely stay here again."

"House was nice, everything you would need is provided. Great location, almost right across from Buffalo Cabins/restaurant. Minutes to town. Only cons were half bath was just a commode in basement. No surrounding walls. House is also on right busy road, so a little difficult getting out of driveway.. Bedrooms are a little small, but beds were comfortable and clean. We would definitely stay here again. "
