"The hotel is very unique and darling. Staff was friendly and helpful. The area is not very safe and across from a homeless shelter, so there were a lot of homeless people on the sidewalks and surrounding areas. That caused some nervousness for my young daughter who I was traveling with. Friends who live in Portland told us not to leave the hotel after dark and to not park our car on the street.
